Meet Dolores Gende She will be working with you in your cohort. She is a great question asker and is very interested in what you are doing. She will serve as an experienced voice in our cohort. You will love her. She is interesting, funny and as you can see below-- quite smart.

Dolores Gende has an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Iberoamericana University in Mexico City. She has been teaching science and math for over 28 years in different countries such as Mexico, Belgium, and the Netherlands Antilles.

She is the Director of Instructional Technology at the Parish Episcopal School in Dallas where she also teaches Honors Physics. Dolores is a member of the AP Physics Curriculum Development and Assessment Committee for the new College Board AP courses. She received the Excellence in Physics Teaching Award by the Texas section of the American Association of Physics Teachers in March 2006. Her award-winning AP Physics website serves as an important reference tool for teachers across the country.

She has given presentations at national and international conferences and leads week-long summer institutes for new and experienced physics teachers.
